DOLEZAL SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT WITH MINNESOTA

Brad Dolezal has became the first Marshfield Tiger wrestler to compete for a Division I school after signing a letter of intent to wrestle at the University of Minnesota. Dolezal is a two-time state champion, having won titles at 140 as a freshman and at 145 last year. His most recent accomplishment was being selected to represent the United States at the 2010 Pan-American Games held in Manaus, Brazil in July. Dolezal won the gold medal in Greco-Roman and was the runner-up in freestyle. Dolezal ending up chosing Minnesota over Purdue, Wisconsin and Iowa. The Golden Gophers won back-to-back national championships in 2001 and 2002 and again in 2007.
