CLARK CO. ATV TRAILS CLOSE

A couple notes from the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department this morning. All Clark Co ATV trails are closed until December 15th. During the new fall closure of Nov. 1 to Dec. 15th, ATVs can only operate on designated trails from the close of hunting hours to 11:00 p.m. This provision is intended for any hunting related activity including the transportation of tree stands and dead game.
The ATV Route/Trail from Intersection #30 to Eau Claire Co (South Butler Forest Road) has been removed from the Clark Co ATV Trail System. No summer time ATV travel is allowed north of Intersection #30 (Dickerson Ave and South Butler Forest Rd).
Also, a reminder that UTV’S/Side-by-Sides are NOT ALLOWED on the Clark Co ATV trail system at this time. Clark County anticipates joining the UTV pilot program in spring 2011.
