FFA ALUMNI ALIVE AND WELL IN WISCONSIN

The President of the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association says the group had a hugely successful National Convention.
The Alumni convention runs along side the FFA Convention in Indianapolis. It concluded over the weekend.
Herman Seebandt of Neillsville is serving a year term as President of the state association, which boasts over 8,450 members. That’s more than double the 2nd largest association in the country.
"Our primary goal is to support the FFA members and schools in Wisconsin. Support the kids and the ag programs," he explains.
Seebandt was awarded the 3-Star State Membership Blazer.
"We had 124 more members this year than we did last year. The President of the state association that wins this gets an official alumni blazer," he says.
Seebandt’s term as president will wrap up in February. Then he’ll become a “Past President,” which also carries a lot of responsibilities.
