MAN ARRESTED IN JACKSON CO. MURDER

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department believes they’ve solved a ‘suspicious death’ in the Melrose area.
The victim’s body was found at his Town of North Bend home on Wednesday morning. He had been shot in the head.
His stolen truck was eventually discovered in the New Lisbon area.
At a press conference on Friday, authorities said they had arrested Aaron Powers of New Lisbon and charged him with murder and burglary.
