UW EAU CLAIRE FOOTBALL IN TOP 25

The UW-Eau Claire football team is ranked in the D3football.com Top 25 rankings for the first time since 2008 after the Blugolds upset previously 9th ranked St. John's last Saturday. UWEC is 20th in this week's D3 national poll. The Blugolds beat St. John’s 23-20 in overtime at Carson Park on Saturday. U.W. Whitewater continues to be the top team in the country with Mount Union number 2. Stevens Point did receive votes. Eau Claire is off this week but will be back in action Sept. 25 at North Central College (Ill.).
