FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL (EVER)!

 For most students, today was the 1st day BACK to school, but for 4-year-old kindergarten students, this is their first day of school EVER.
Andrew Knoff, 4, of Granton was one of those kids.
Although he’s quick to point out he’s been to Sunday School and swimming lessons, today was a special day for him.
"Today, I'm going to real school," Knoff said before leaving for his first day of class.
Andrew didn’t seem too nervous about going to school this morning. If anything, he seemed to be looking forward to getting away from his parents for awhile.
"I'm just looking forward to having fun by myself," Andrew said.
Wait... you mean you'd rather go to school than spend time with your parents?
"Well..." he paused. "Well, I'll listen to the teacher, too."
Andrew's teacher is Mr. Ron Klein. He says some students are more excited than others for their first day in the classroom.
4-K strives to get kids acclimated to the classroom setting.
"It's a great way for the kids to learn how to socialize, but it's a great opportunity for us to work on letters and numbers and understanding print and building language."
Kids will be in school through the 1st week in June.
