GREENWOOD PICKED TO WIN EASTERN CLOVERBELT VOLLEYBALL CROWN

With a pair of returning First Team All Conference Seniors, Greenwood is the pick to win a competitive Eastern Cloverbelt in girls volleyball this year. Seniors Taylan Johnson and Kati Smith return to a Greenwood team that finished 7-1 in the East last year, tied with Colby. Greenwood reached the Regional Final last year before losing to Division 4 State runner-up Wausau Newman. The Conference was young last season and a number of teams have returning players this year including Colby who is picked to finish 2nd. Here's the rest of the predicted order of finish:
3. Spencer
4. Owen-Withee
5. Neillsville
6. Mfld Columbus
7. Augusta
8. Gilman
9. Loyal
10. Granton
In the West, Altoona is the favorite there followed by McDonell, Regis and Fall Creek.
