WOOD CO. OFFICER SHOOTS SUSPECT

The Wood County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting involving an officer.
Authorities were called to an address at 3 a.m. Sunday morning after a man threatened a person with a knife in Wisconsin Rapids.
Authorities ordered the man to the ground, but he lunged at a deputy with the knife and was shot.
He was airlifted to Marshfield. His condition is not known.
