FT McCOY PLANS SPECIAL DAY FOR RETIREES

Fort McCoy, near Sparta, plans to honor military retirees next month.
The daylong celebration will be Friday, Sept. 10. The party is open to retirees from all military branches and their spouses, widows and guests.
The agenda calls for speakers from organizations that deal with military retiree living and a benefits fair.
Fort McCoy conducts the appreciation day every September. The fort also will sponsor similar appreciation days in Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois over the next few months.
