FAIR TIME IS HERE!! (ALMOST)

This is the week that hundreds of 4H and FFAers have been preparing for. The Clark County Fair gets underway here in Neillsville on Wednesday.
While other smells will be wafting through the grounds in a few days, the smells on Monday were of cleaners and disinfectants.
"Today, we're here just cleaning up the Fairgrounds," Cllark County 4H Youth Development Agent Sara Gronski said. "Everybody's getting their stalls ready, their
The county boasts 24 clubs and just under 700 4H members. They’ll provide plenty to look at this week.
"We have about 10,000 exhibits coming in and that stretches from our Fine Arts building to the animals," she says.
In a rural county like ours, the Fair is always one of the highlights of the summer.
"It's a great time for our members to showcase what they've worked on this year. Everything they've learned, everything they've been able to teach the younger members," Gronski points out. "It's just really a great time to get everyone together across the county."
