HIGHGROUND BENEFITS FROM BIKE TOUR

Another Highground Bicycle Tour concluded yesterday.
Cyclists from Appleton, New Richmond, Madison, Racine, Hayward and Dubuque, Iowa came together on The Highground for their Journey’s End Celebration. Approximately 250 riders pedaled approximately 1,450 miles before arriving at The Highground. The Loyal American Legion Post 175 and volunteers displayed flags along the roadway as the bicyclists rode around the plaza.
This year bicyclists raised over $46,000 to keep The Highground beautiful for all visitors. This was the 26th year for the Annual Bicycle Tour.
