Gross Automotive Group won’t be losing their Buick franchise in Marshfield, after all.

You may remember during the General Motors restructuring, the government put pressure on GM to drastically reduce the number of dealerships around the country.

Gross’ dealership in Marshfield was selected by closed, but they were allowed to go to arbitration.

Wayne Gross of Gross Motors says, of the dealerships slated for closure, about half went to arbitration. Only 15% of those dealerships made it to trial.

Gross found out Wednesday night they had won, so the franchise in Marshfield is safe. That’s good news for their 14 full time employees there. If they would have lost their case, Gross says they may have had to close the business.
