WIAA STATE SUMMER BASEBALL TOURNAMENT STARTS FRIDAY

The 2010 WIAA State Summer Baseball Tournament gets underway later this week. Regional competition is slated to begin on Friday, July 16 with the winners advancing to the regional finals to be played on Tuesday, July 20. Sectional competition will be held on Friday, July 23 with eight teams advancing to the State Tournament to be played at Bukolt Park in Stevens Point on July 28 and 29.

Alma Center Lincoln @ Melrose Mindoro
Eleva-Strum @ Whitehall
Augusta @ Cochrane-Fountain-City
Independence/Gilmanton @ Alma
West Salem, Blair-Taylor, Arcadia and Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau received first round byes.
