CAT COUPLE NOW FACES CHILD NEGLECT CHARGES

That Jackson County couple, already in trouble for having more than 100 dead cats in their broken freezer, are now facing child neglect charges.
Gabriella Bernabei and Robert Grassi of Northfield will make an initial court appearance next week on child neglect charges.
Authorities say three children were living in filthy conditions at the home, which was covered in cat feces and urine, their room had mold growing, and their mattresses didn’t have sheets.
The couple claims to practice Wiccan beliefs and that they were keeping the cats so they could give them a proper burial.
