CAIN TRUNKEL AT WHITE SOX TRYOUT

Cain Trunkel of Neillsville along with 34 other baseball players from around the state were invited to Stevens Point last Thursday for a tryout with the Chicago White Sox. According to Trunkel it was a chance for the White Sox to look at talent from around the state and to see who they might keep an eye down the road to possibly draft. At the tryout players showed off their primary skill like pitching and secondary skills including hitting and fielding. The next step would be an invitation to Elgin, Illinois where players would tryout in front of other Major League Scouts
