PHILLIP OPELT OF NEILLSVILLE COMPETES FOR WISCONSIN WRESTLING TEAM

Phillip Opelt of Neillsville competed with the Wisconsin All-Star wrestling team this past weekend in Rochester, MN. Wresling at 98 pounds, Phillip was 1-6 in the Freestyle Division as Wisconsin finished first in the Consolation 1 Bracket. In the Greco-Roman Division, Wisconsin finished 4th in the Championship Bracket as Opelt finished 2-5 at 98 pounds. Next up for Phillip - The Nationals, which will take place in July at Fargo, North Dakota.
