NEILLSVILLE SOFTBALL SEASON COMES TO AN END

The Neillsville Girls Softball Team saw their season come to an end yesterday as they were beaten by Peshtigo in the Sectional Final 3-0. Neillsville (22-2) had runners throughout the game but were unable to come up with a timely hit. The Warriors managed only 3 hits in the game. A 3 run 4th inning was all Peshtigo (19-4) needed to advance to the Division 3 State Semi-Final on Friday afternoon in Madison vs. unbeaten Lancaster. Neillsville finished a fine season which saw them win the Eastern Cloverbelt, a Regional Championship and Sectional runner-up.
