REPUBLICAN PRIMARY SET FOR ASSEMBLY

Another Republican wants the chance to run against the Democratic incumbent in the state’s 70th Assembly District.
The seat is currently held by Amy Sue Vruwink, a Democrat from Milladore.
Now, Marshfield Alderman John Spiros has announced he will run against Stephen Zdun of Pittsville in the GOP primary election Sept. 14.
Spiros has spent the last eight years as the director of safety and claims operations at Marshfield's Roehl Transport.
