THE HIGHGROUND PREPARES FOR VETERANS GATHERING

An event at Lambeau Field this week is being hailed as Wisconsin’s “official thank you” to Vietnam vets, and a local veterans’ memorial will be front and center.
LZ Lambeau kicks off at Lambeau Field on Thursday.
Organizers estimate over 100,000 people will come through the gates by Sunday.
Nancy Rodman with The Highground Veterans Memorial Park outside of Neillsville says they’ve been given a 30-foot area in the Atrium to connect with vets and spread The Highground’s message.
The climax of the event will be a special ceremony on Saturday night. You need tickets to get in, and The Highground has some for sale. They’re $2 for vets and $10 for non-veterans.
