CITY WANTS TO HELP DEVELOPERS
Tuesday, July 26th, 2005 -- 11:46 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
Neillsville’s Planning Commission has recommended some ordinance changes that may help them lure a residential subdivision developer. Mayor Diane Murphy said the current ordinance doesn’t allow the city any room to negotiate with would-be developers, the changes recommended last night would allow the city to help with the cost of infrastructure and then charge the developer through a special assessment. The council will take up the recommendation Tuesday night.
