GOVERNOR'S FISHING OPENER WILL BE IN HATFIELD

Governor Jim Doyle will kick-off the 2010 fishing season at an area lake.
The annual Governor’s Fishing Opener will be held on May 1st on Lake Arbutus in Hatfield.
This is the 45th year of the traditional opener, which was started by then-Governor Warren Knowles. It’s always held in one of the 22 Northwester counties known as the Indian Head area.
The event’s been held on Lake Arbutus 3 times, the last was 2005.
