THORP DAIRY WINS GOLD

A Clark County cheesemaker has taken home a gold medal at the 2010 World Cheese Championships in Madison.
Holland's Family Cheese of Thorp was recognized as the maker of the best Gouda flavored cheese.
The cheese is produced at the Penterman farm on Gorman Avenue southeast of Thorp.
Meanwhile, a Gruyere from Switzerland has been named the world's best cheese at the contest.
