TWO DEAD IN BRF CRASH

A Black River Falls couple has died in a rollover crash.
According to authorities, Kenneth Lechner, 68, and Majorie F. Lechner, 59, were killed in the accident.
The preliminary report indicates their truck left State Highway 54 shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday when it went off the road and into a small river in front of the Jackson County Fairgrounds. The truck also hit a power line, causing an outage in the area.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the accident, but say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
