NEILLSVILLE VS OSSEO-FAIRCHILD SATURDAY FOR CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP

This Saturday afternoon in Altoona and for the 5th year in a row it will be Neillsville vs. Osseo-Fairchild for the Cloverbelt Conference Championship in girls basketball. Neillsville finished atop the Eastern Cloverbelt with a 15-1 record while Osseo-Fairchild won the West with an identical 15-1 record. Game time on Saturday is approximately 20 minutes after the 2nd place playoff game which starts at 1 pm and features Owen-Withee against Eau Claire Regis. Both games can be heard live on 92.7 FM WPKG. Neillsville and Osseo-Fairchild have split the last 4 Conference Championships with the Chieftains winning last year. On Friday night it's the 3rd - 9th place playoffs for girls basketball in the Cloverbelt - here are the matchups:
9th place - Granton @ Cadott
8th place - Augusta @ Gilman
7th place - Colby @ Stanley-Boyd
6th place - Loyal @ Thorp
5th place - Greenwood @ McDonell
4th place - Spencer @ Altoona
