GRANTON WOMAN AGAIN CALLS 911, GETS ARRESTED

A Granton woman who made headlines for reporting herself as a drunk driver is back in trouble with law – this time for allegedly beating her husband.
Mary Strey faces a count of disorderly conduct.
According to court records, Strey called 911 after her husband left a local bar early and went to bed. He locked the door believing Strey had a key. She didn’t, so she called 9-1-1.
When deputies arrived, they heard Strey yelling at her husband. He told them that when he opened the door, she punched him on his shoulder and neck.
