NEILLSVILLE GETS WIN #10 IN EASTERN CLOVERBELT

The Neillsville Boys basketball team got their 10th win in Cloverbelt Conference play last night with a 68 - 49 victory over Greenwood. Neillsville (12-4, 10-3) were led by Cain Trunkel with 22 points, Mitchell Erickson added 14 and Ryan Naughton 10. Greenwood (3-13, 2-9) got a game high 23 points from Josh Harlander. Neillsville also converted 12 of 14 from the freethrow line. Neillsville now has won 11 of their last 13 and will have a week off before a tough three game stretch starting at Barron next Tuesday 2/9, then they'll host Colby on the 11th before traveling to Blair-Taylor on the 16th.
