TRUNKEL'S 33 POINTS LEADS NEILLSVILLE

Senior Cain Trunkel poured in 33 points to lead the Neillsville boys basketball team past Granton last night 70-46. Trunkel scored 15 points in the first half which saw Neillsville (10-4, 8-3) take a 2 point lead into the locker room. The Warriors came out in the second half and outscored Granton (0-13, 0-11) 40 - 18 in the second half led by Trunkel with 18 points. Cain surpassed the 1,000 point mark in his high school career last week. Neillsville will be at Loyal on Saturday night - game time is 7:30 pm and you can hear it live on 92.7 FM WPKG.
