AREA MEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH BURGLARIES

A 20-year-old Granton man is in custody in connection with a string of burglaries around Marshfield.
Alexander Bahr was arrested Saturday and could face multiple burglary and theft charges in Wood and Portage counties. 19-year-old Samuel Sawicky, formerly of Marshfield, was also arrested.
Bahr and Sawicky are students at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Investigators interviewed the two men after an alleged burglary early Saturday morning, and were able to connect them to multiple burglaries that occurred on Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 in Marshfield.
