FARM ACCIDENTS TAKES TWO LIVES

Two men are killed in Buffalo County when a basket attached to a boom truck collapsed on a farm near Mondovi. Buffalo County sheriff's officials say the two men were pronounced dead at the scene after falling about 60 feet. The men were working on a silo when the basket collapsed about 7:30 Monday night. The victims are identified as 50-year-old Bernard Walsky of rural Galesville and 32-year-old Mark Helgeson of rural Independence. OSHA will investigate.
