NEILLSVILLE WRESTLERS WIN INVITATIONAL

The Neillsville wrestling team took first at their own invitational on Saturday, finishing the day 4-1. Neillsville's only loss came to Abbotsford/Colby 40-33. Neillsville's 4 wins came against Nekoosa/Port Edwards 40-32, Cashton 41-24, Blair-Taylor 59-10 and Athens 42-18. Undefeated wrestlers for day from Neillsville included Phillip Opelt at 103, Jared Boon at 112, Damien Luchterhand at 140 and Dan Schoen at 189.
