Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 -- 3:28 pm
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Authorities in Taylor County have released the names of the man and woman who were found dead Tuesday in an apparent murder-suicide in the town of Little Black.

Officials say they were called to the home Tuesday morning after co-workers of 48-year-old Margaret Soyk said she did not show up at work. Authorities entered the house and found two bodies.

They say it appears the woman died from blunt force injuries caused by the man, 48-year-old Donald Soyk. Sheriff's officials say the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities say they had been married in the past, and living together since their divorce in 2008.
