GRANTON 4TH GRADE CLASS HAS 8 STUDENTS

The Marshfield NewsHerald had a story today about a small class cycling through the Granton Elementary—a REALLY small class.

Renee Lubke’s 4th grade class has only eight kids this year.

Granton’s not known for large class sizes, but 8 is notable.

For instance, Lubke’s class last year was 26 and next year’s class is 24.

Lubke says small class size has some benefits: the students can focus more, work together as a team and receive more direct attention from their teacher.

The entire class can even play board games together.
