STREAK NOW AT 38 FOR NEILLSVILLE GIRLS

The Neillsville Warrior girls basketball team has now won 38 in a row in the Eastern Cloverbelt after a 56-28 triumph over Augusta last night. Neillsville led by 20 at halftime and never let Augusta get closer as the Lady Warriors improve to 4-0 on the season. Caitlin Courtney led the way with 16 points while Angela Meshnick added 14 and Kayla Opelt came off the bench to score 11, all in the second half. Neillsville will next be in action next Monday, Dec. 28th when they take on Cashton in the first game of the Black River Falls Tournament. That game will start at 5 pm and it can be heard live on 92.7 FM WPKG.
