GET THOSE SIDEWALKS CLEAN

Now that winter has been thrust on us, it’s time to get out the shovels and snowblowers.
Most municipalities have ordinances pertaining to snow removal from sidewalks. Here in Neillsville, property owners with sidewalks must clear them by 10 a.m. each morning after a snowfall. If it continues to snow during the day, you need to remove the snow and ice 3 hours after the snow ceases. If you don’t, you might get a written warning, and the city has the right to clean your sidewalk at your expense.
Also, remember the city’s winter parking restrictions are in place. That means you can’t park on city streets overnight.
