A fire causes $25,000 worth of damages to the chapel at Regis High School. No one was hurt.
According to WQOW-TV, Eau Claire Fire and Rescue was called to Regis High School Sunday morning after the school's chaplain smelled smoke. The fire department says a fire had started overnight in the chapel and had burned itself out by morning. The chapel was closed up, which the fire department says kept it from spreading throughout the building.
The fire remains under investigation.
