Pope Benedict XVI has tapped a familiar face to area Catholics to lead the Milwaukee Archdiocese.
Jerome Listecki, 60, will be the 11th archbishop of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, which includes about 675,000 parishioners and 211 churches.
Listecki has has led the La Crosse diocese since March 2005.
He'll be installed in his new position in January.
