AREA HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE

The Neillsville Fire Department was called to the scene of a house fire Friday afternoon.
According to Fire Chief Matt Meyer, the crew was called out at around 12:20 p.m. The home was located in the Town of Pine Valley, just off of STH 73 on Cawley Avenue.
The north side of the home was fully engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived.
Meyer says the home appears to be a complete loss.
They spent about 3 hours on the scene and receive assistance from the Granton Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
