NEILLSVILLE BOARD APPROVES LEVY, TAX RATE

The Neillsville School Board approved the tax levy and mil rate for the 2010 budget Tuesday night.
The levy will increase 6.4% to $3.8-million. But, overall revenues for the district are down this year, due to the loss of over $400,000 in state aid.
The tax rate will increase about 6% to $8.20.
The board also discussed sports co-ops, approving a middle school wrestling co-op with Greenwood.
