UW EAU CLAIRE WOMENS GOLF TEAM IS WIAC CHAMPS

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire won the 2009 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Golf Championship following 54 holes of competition at Northern Bay Golf Resort & Marina this past weekend. The conference title for the Blugolds is the league-leading sixth in program history and first since 2006. With the victory, UW-Eau Claire automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship that will be held on May 11-14 at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
