THRIFT STORE FINDS $13,000 IN SHOEBOX

There are donations… and then there are donations.
Workers at Marshfield’s Goodwill were sorting through donations recently. They found a shoebox filled with $13,000 in cash.
Instead of pocketing the money, they turned it over to their store leader.
It turns out the money belonged to an area couple, who accidentally included the box in their recent donation.
The money has been returned.
