ATV FATAL

An elderly Granton man is dead after crashing his ATV earlier this month.
On Tuesday, September 15th, Harold Hillert was involved in an ATV crash on Moonlite Rd, about ½ mile east of Pray Ave., in the Township of Grant.
Hillert was westbound on Moonlite Rd. when he came over and hill and lost control of the ATV. It appears the ATV then rolled twice landing in the south ditch. Mr. Hillert was airlifted from the scene and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Mr. Hillert died from his injuries on Sunday. This is the second ATV fatality in Clark County in 2009.
