CLARK CO. HELPS NAB ALLEGED SEX OFFENDER

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department helped arrest a man accused of trying to meet with a minor for sex last week.
23-year-old Anthony Vanderscheuren was arrested at Elver Park in Madison on Thursday as he attempted to meet with a minor for the purpose of engaging in unlawful sexual activity.
This case began earlier this month when Vanderscheuren engaged in a sexually explicit chat with what he believed to be a 15-year-old. It was actually an undercover Clark County detective.
Vanderscheuren solicited the girl and arranged to meet with her at the park.
Mr. Vanderscheuren was arrested and charged with Use of a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime.
