The Neillsville Fire Department had a couple calls in a 10-hour span.

First, they were called to the scene of a vehicle fire Sunday afternoon at 4:28 p.m.
It was located one-quarter mile north of CTH “C” on STH 73, in the town of Weston.

The truck was fully engulfed when crews arrived. They spent about one-half hour dousing the flames. There were no injuries.

Then, early Monday morning at around 2:48 a.m., they were called to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover one-quarter mile west of STH 73 on Schofield Avene, also in the town of Weston.

Upon arrival, they found a car overturned in the ditch. One person was trapped inside. They used the jaws of life used to free the woman, who was transported to Memorial Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The crew spent about one-half hour on the scene.
