MAN STEALS COLD MEDS, ADMITS HE WANTED TO GET HIGH

An 18-year-old Neillsville man was caught trying to steal cold medicine from a local grocery store Wednesday night.
The suspect told an officer he tried to steal the medicine from Marty’s Supermarket because he read on-line that he could get high on the ingredient Dextramothorphan, which is found in mucus relief medications.
A subsequent check of the suspect’s vehicle turned up a small amount of marijuana.
