MONKEY CAPTURED

A monkey missing from a Chippewa Falls zoo for two weeks has been captured.
The chimp was let free by vandals who hit Irvine Park Zoo.
The female monkey was apprehended in a live trap at a home near the intersection of Highways S and Q at about 6 p.m. Thursday.
Residents there reported seeing the monkey in their neighborhood, so parks officials baited it with a mix of bananas, peanut butter and jelly.
The chimp seemed to be in fine health.
