BADGERLAND YOUTH FOOTBALL A HIT SATURDAY NIGHT

Badgerland American Youth Football was played under the lights at D.E. Peters Athletic Field in Neillsville for the first time this past Saturday night. A good crowd enjoyed three games featuring the Neillsville Jr. PeeWee and PeeWee teams going against teams from Nekoosa. The evening got off to a good start for the Neillsville as the Jr. PeeWee Red squad downed the Nekoosa Jr. PeeWee Silver team 8-0. The second game of the evening saw the Nekoosa Jr. PeeWee Black team improve to 3-0 on the season as they downed the Neillsville Jr. PeeWee Black team 32-14. The nightcap saw the Neillsville PeeWee team down the Nekoosa PeeWee Black team 25 -12 to improve to 2-1 on the season. For more on Badgerland Youth Football go online to badgerlandayf.org
