Union leaders have hammered out a deal with Marshfield DoorSystems officials that will save dozens of jobs.
According to the Marshfield NewsHerald, the company now says 69 employees will be laid off in September; they previously announced 153 people would lose their jobs.
After weeks of discussions, leaders reached an agreement Thursday to allow 4-day work weeks during slow times. It will save around 80 jobs, company officials said.
