TRUCK VS. MOPED

An 83-year-old Neillsville man is hospitalized in fair condition after a pick-up vs. moped accident Saturday afternoon.
It happened near Bob and Caryl’s IGA, at the intersection of Grand Ave. and 5th Street.
According to the accident report, a truck was southbound on Grand Avenue; the driver proceeded through the intersection, not seeing Harvey Pischer, who was eastbound on 5th Street on his moped.
Pischer was transported by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center and then to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where he was listed in fair condition yesterday.
