SMALL PLANE CRASHES IN JACKSON COUNTY

A federal aviation official says a small plane has crashed in Jackson County, possibly injuring one person. A spokeswoman for the FAA said today that according to preliminary information, the private Cessna 172 hit a house while attempting to land near Black River Falls. 3 people were on board. No injuries on the ground. FAA records show the plane is registered to the Rangers Flying Club in Eden Prairie, MN.
