PROPERTY TAX DEADLINE TODAY

Clark County Treasurer Kathy Brugger says the 2nd half of your property tax bill is due by the end of the business day today or at least must be postmarked today to avoid late fees. Property tax bills come out in December. Taxpayers have the option to pay the entire bill to their local municipatilty by the end of January or split the bill. Brugger says the Treasurer's office has been hopping this week. So far, she hasn't seen any evidence that more people will be deliquent on their taxes due to the economy.
